Belly：（混响） For me, it was almost like winter didn‘t count. Spring and fall, they were just chapters in a book, just passing through. But summer was different. Summer was my story. My whole life was measured in summers.

Belly：对我而言，冬天几乎不算真正的日子。春天和秋天，只是书本里匆匆翻过的章节，转瞬即逝。只有夏天不一样，夏天是独属于我的篇章。我的整个人生，都是用一个个夏天来丈量的。

Belly：（混响）I’d spent every single summer here, in this beach house, with Susannah and the boys. Every year I was the tag-along, the little sister, the kid who was always one step behind. They never saw me as anything more than that. Never once.

Belly: 我每一个夏天都守在这栋海边别墅，陪着苏姗阿姨和两个少年。每一年，我都是那个跟屁虫、小妹妹，那个永远落后一步的小孩。他们从来没有用别的眼光看过我，从来没有。

Belly：（混响）But this summer was different. I wasn’t the little girl anymore. I wasn’t invisible. This summer, I turned pretty. Not just pretty enough to notice, but pretty enough to change everything.

Steven: I still don’t get why you’re so obsessed with coming here every single year. It’s the same beach, same old house, same idiots.

Steven: 我还是不懂你为什么年年执着来这里。一样的海滩、一样的老房子、一样的两个笨蛋。

Belly：It’s not the same. Nothing here is ever the same. Summer here isn’t just a place for me. It’s the only place I feel fully alive. At home, I’m just Belly, Steven’s dorky little sister. Here, I get to be more.

Jeremiah: Wait a second… Belly? Is that really you? I swear I almost didn’t recognize you. You look so different. So unbelievably beautiful.

Jeremiah: 等一下……贝莉？真的是你吗？我发誓我差点认不出你了。你完全变了一个人，美得让人不敢相信。

Belly: Is it a good different? Or do I look weird?

Belly: 是变好的那种变化吗？还是看起来很奇怪？

Jeremiah: It’s the best kind of different. The kind of different that makes everything feel new. I’ve thought about you every single day all year long. I kept telling myself this summer would be different, but I never imagined you’d be like this.

Jeremiah: 是最好的变化，是那种让一切焕然一新的变化。我这一整年，每一天都在想你。我一直告诉自己这个夏天会不一样，但我从来没想过，你会变得这么耀眼。

Conrad: Belly…

Conrad: 贝莉……

Belly: Hi, Conrad.

Belly: 嗨，康拉德。

Conrad: I’ve been staring for too long, I know. I just… I can’t get over how much you’ve changed. I’ve seen you every summer for years, but right now, you look like a total stranger. A really beautiful stranger.

Conrad: 我知道我看得太久了，只是我真的没办法移开目光。我不敢相信你的变化。这么多年每个夏天都见你，可此刻的你，陌生又耀眼，美得让我失神。

Belly: You don’t sound happy about it.

Belly: 听起来你好像并不开心。

Conrad: I’m happy. I just… I never stopped to think that one day you’d grow up. I always assumed you’d always be the little girl who’d chase us around the beach, who’d wait up for us, who’d only ever see us as her boys. I wasn’t ready for this.

Jeremiah: Don’t make her uncomfortable, Conrad. She just got here.

Conrad: I’m not making her uncomfortable. I’m just talking. You don’t get to dictate how I talk to her.

Conrad: 我没有让她尴尬，我只是聊天而已。你没资格管我怎么跟她说话。

Belly: This was always my worst fear. That one day I’d finally be pretty, finally be enough, and they’d both see me. And then everything would break. The friendship, the summer, everything I’ve ever loved about this place.

Belly: 这一直是我最害怕的事。我终于变好看、终于被人看见，可代价却是一切崩塌。我们的情谊、我的夏天、我在这里所有的美好，都会被打碎。

Susannah: Boys, enough. This summer is supposed to be happy. No tension, no fighting, no overthinking. We have all season to be together, to enjoy each other. Look at her, look at how bright our Belly is this year. Let’s just be happy for her.

Belly: I feel like everything shifted the second I walked through that door today. Like I’m no longer part of the group, I’m just… something to look at.

Belly: 我感觉今天进门的那一刻，一切都变了。我不再是你们之中的一份子，我只是一个被打量、被审视的人。

Conrad: That’s not true. You’ve always been more than that. You’ve always been the heart of this summer, Belly. Always. We were just stupid kids who never took the time to notice how amazing you are. We were too busy being careless, being young, to see the girl right in front of us.

Jeremiah: I know you’ve always loved him. Everyone knows. But I need you to hear me right now. I’ve loved you almost as long as I can remember. It was never just brotherly love for me, never.

Jeremiah: 我知道你一直喜欢他，所有人都知道。但我要你认真听我说，从我有记忆开始，我就喜欢你了。对我来说，这份感情从来不是兄妹之情，从来不是。

Jeremiah: I’ve watched you wait for him every summer. I’ve watched you hurt quietly, over and over again. I’ve always been right here, waiting for you. I don’t want to be the second choice anymore, Belly. I want to be the one you choose.

Belly: 我从前以为夏天只是阳光、沙滩、海浪，只是一个普通的季节。可原来夏天从不是季节，是一种宿命，是成长，是经年隐忍、小心翼翼的深爱。

Belly: （混响）This is the summer I turned pretty. Not just on the outside. This is the summer I finally grew brave enough to face my feelings, to face them, to face myself. This summer changed me forever.
