Voice-over：Arya lunged as soon as Syrio turned his back, but he moved like a leaf in the wind, effortlessly slipping past her blade with a simple sidestep. The next few rounds, his parries and counters left her utterly bewildered, until her wooden sword was clattered to the floor. Syrio snatched it up first, strode forward, and tossed it back to her. Seeing her catch it this time, he gave her a satisfied, toothy grin. For the next four hours, she pushed through the ache in her muscles, guided by Syrio's sharp, snarling corrections. Eddard watched from the doorway, a soft, proud smile tugging at his lips. Soon, that warmth retreated deep into his eyes, replaced by a grim solemnity, as if he could sense the gathering storm.

旁白：艾莉亚趁着西利欧转身，一剑刺出。西利欧却像一片薄纸，只一侧身便从艾莉亚的剑锋上划走了。接下来的几个回合，他只是防守反击便打得艾莉亚找不着北，木剑被击落在地。西利欧抢先捡起木剑，向前急走几步回身抛给艾莉亚。眼见这次没有落空，西利欧满意地冲她呲了呲牙。之后她在西利欧那呲牙咧嘴的纠正声中整整试了四个小时，直试到肌肉酸痛不已。艾德倚着门框注视着，脸上挂着欣慰的微笑。但很快，这丝微笑便深深藏进了眼底，脸上只剩下风雨欲来的凝重。
